Printing with natural dyes

Spend the afternoon learning about using natural dyes found in your home and in your garden and then using your artistic flair decorate your own organic cotton canvas bag which you can take away with you.

During this workshop you will use ink pastes created using concentrated dye and a thickening agent to create a beautifully decorated bag. You'll be fascinated by the colours achieved using store cupboard ingredients from, either onion skins, avocado skins and stones or turmeric. The workshop will be taking place at WorkshopN4 in Haringey. A lovely creative space run by artist Lisa Price. All materials are included and refreshments.

As well as taking home the bag you will also be given a natural dyeing information pack with info on how to get started and books to read.
